Activision axes more studios and cancels all titles except Call of Duty. I guess Blizzard is going to be the only breadwinner in this unhappy marriage.

Later in the day, Activision’s COOThomas Tippl tried to calm investors down by saying:

If we don’t see any games from Blizzard this year, the publisher expects to see them next year”

What a joke! Dear investor, if you don’t see any revenue now, you certainly won’t be seeing it anytime soon either! The even bigger joke is how Joystiq reported it without even asking Blizzard for a comment. Thankfully, Kotaku did and Rob Pardo assured fans that Diablo 3 will come out in 2011.
